Description
The Timanfaya National Park cover most of the central-western part of the island of Lanzarote, between the towns of Yaiza and Tinajo. Its area is 5,198 hectares, and it was declared a national park in 1974 in order to try and preserve an area that is characterised by a wide range of volcanic features.
